Course Details:

 

The Bachelor of Aviation (BAvn) is a bachelor's degree for studies in the field of aviation. It takes 4 years to complete the degree. This degree also trains students in engineering, and electronics, teaching students to run, fly, design, manage, and operate aviation systems all over the world. Careers are available in all fields of the aviation sector, including flight planning, support and operations, airport and airline management, government and regulatory oversight, and aviation research and development.

 

Eligibility:

 

The Institute of Aviation and Aviation Safety (IAAS) offers admission to a Three Year Degree Course leading to the award of B.Sc. (Aviation) Degree of the University of Mumbai to all persons who have attained the age of seventeen (17) years and who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (HSC) conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education or any other Examination recognized as equivalent. A Pass in Physics and Mathematics is Mandatory

The language of Indian Civil Aviation is English. As such, a Candidate is expected to be fluent in English.

A Candidate from outside Maharashtra State, passing an examination equivalent to Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (HSC) conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education. Pune, will have to obtain Original Provisional Eligibility from the University of Mumbai and Migration Certificate along with 2 (Two) photocopies of each for confirmation of eligibility. If such a Certificate is not obtained from the Registrar of the University of Mumbai, admission and terms allowed to be kept by the Candidate will be treated as "null and void" and the Candidate will not be allowed to appear for final Examination.
